Connie Moreno

grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Connie Moreno, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2026.

Connie was born in Houston, Texas, on October 20, 1943, a daughter of the late Joe and Consuelo Rodriguez. Soon after, her family moved to San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Lanier High School. She began working as a bookkeeper in several medical offices and did so for 30 years. Her passions were traveling, shopping, and tending to her little dogs. She

also enjoyed going fishing with her husband, Gilbert.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 21 years, Gilbert, and her siblings, Gloria and Victoria. Connie was a devoted mother to her two children. She was a kind and selfless person with a generous heart who had an impact on anyone who met her and was well respected. She will be deeply missed by her children, Lisa and her husband Hugh, and Louis and his wife, Arlene. She will leave a lasting memory on her grandchildren, Chloe and her husband Josh, and Hugh,

Ethan and his wife Felicity. She only got to enjoy her great grandchildren, Hugh Ruben and Oliver Rhys, for a short amount of time but she loved them dearly. She will also be remembered by her stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren along with numerous family members and friends.

A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at1:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78238. We invite all who knew and loved Connie to join us in honoring her memory.
