Connie Sue Ramirez, age 73, was born on March 13, 1953, in Sweetwater, Texas. She passed away on October 11, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
On June 29, 1985, Connie married the love of her life, Richard Ramirez, in San Antonio, Texas. Together, they shared 41 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and treasured memories. Connie was a devoted wife and mother who took immense pride in the family she cherished.
Her bond with her son, Christopher, was truly unbreakable. Their connection was one of deep love, closeness, and understanding that words could never fully express. Christopher held a special place in Connie’s heart, and the love they shared will forever remain with him. A mother’s love never truly leaves us, and their bond will continue to live on through the memories they created together.
As the eldest of seven children, Connie took immense pride in helping her mother raise her younger siblings. From an early age, she understood the importance of family and embraced the role she played in their lives. Her dedication and love for her family remained defining parts of who she was throughout her life.
Connie found happiness in making her house a home. She thoroughly enjoyed decorating, spending countless hours tending to her plants, and lovingly caring for her flowers. She took pride in creating beautiful surroundings and found joy in nurturing the things she loved. Much like the flowers she so lovingly tended, the love Connie planted in the hearts of her family will continue to bloom for generations to come.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 41 years, Richard Ramirez; her devoted son, Christopher; her sisters, Donna and Cathy; her brother, Randy, and his wife, Kathy Ann; her brother-in-law, Joseph; her sisters-in-law, Paula and her husband, Roberto, Mary, and Cindy; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Connie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arthur and Althea Richardson; her brother, Stanley; her sisters, Patty and Delores; her brothers-in-law, Billy “Bubba” and Leonard; her father-in-law, Dionicio Ramirez; her mother-in-law, Margarita Ramirez; and her brothers-in-law, Oscar “Rollie” and Robert.
Though Connie’s passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the special place she held in her family’s lives will never be lost. Her legacy will live on through her husband, her son, her siblings, and the many family members whose lives she touched.
May Connie Sue Ramirez rest in eternal peace. May the flowers she loved serve as a gentle reminder that love never truly fades, and that the most beautiful things we leave behind continue to grow in the hearts of those we love.
Forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
The family will receive guests from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Porter Loring Mortuary West, 1710 West Loop 1604 North, San Antonio, TX 78251.
