Connie Concepcion Huron Guerra, age 90, of San Antonio, died Monday, May 27, 2002. She and her husband, Alfred, owned and operated the Southside Food Store on South Flores Street during the late 1940's thru 1957. Mrs. Guerra was an entrepreneur and seamstress, creating gowns and costumes for weddings and Fiesta functions. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred A. Guerra and son, Arthur H. Guerra. Survivors: sons, Alfred Guerra, Jr. and wife, Dora, Las Vegas, NV and Ray Guerra and wife, Carmen, Lake Jackson, TX; daughters, Irene Henley and husband, Donald, San Antonio and Connie H. Guerra and husband, Timothy P. Campbell, Germantown, MD; daughter-in-law, Alma Guerra, San Antonio; twenty grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren.
