Connor David Kohutek

Connor was born on February 14, 1992 in San Antonio, Texas, to Larry and Jeri Kohutek.

Connor was an adventurer at heart – bold and fearless, coming alive on the edge of a mountain peak or scaling a tall tower to see the world from a different view. He loved nature deeply and found peace and joy in God’s creation.

Those who knew Connor will remember his kind and gentle heart. He never hesitated to help others and was always willing to lend a hand. He was content living simply and appreciated the small moments in life, showing those around him what it meant to care deeply for people.

To his nieces and nephews, he was the fun uncle- always ready to play, laugh and make every moment an adventure. He loved music and animals, both of which were a meaningful part of his life.

Most of all, Connor had a heart that sought the Lord. His faith was a constant presence in his life, and we rest in the promise that he is now home in Heaven – whole, free, and wrapped in the love of his Savior.

Connor was preceded in death by his father, Larry Kohutek, and his grandparents, BJ and Yvonne Kohutek, and Harry and Jacquelyn Pickens. He is survived by his mother, Jeri Kohutek McKinley, and stepfather, Les McKinley; his sisters, Michelle Sasser (Trebes Jr.) and Morgan Earles (Cole); his brother, Blake Kohutek (Katie); and his stepbrothers, Jacob McKinley and Cole McKinley. He also leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews, as well as his aunts, uncles, and extended family.

A celebration of Connor’s life will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Crossway Bible Church, 15759 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, Texas 78232. Pastor Josh de Koning, officiating. Interment will be private for the family. Pallbearers will be Blake Kohutek, Cole Earles, Trebes Sasser Jr., Cole McKinley, Jake McKinley, and Justin Sanford.
