Conrad Doungeva was born on November 11, 1968, in Cottonwood, Arizona, nestled in the beautiful Verde Valley. From exploring the surrounding hills and mountains with his siblings to cooling off at the local swimming pool during the hot summer days, Conrad’s early years were filled with adventure, family, and cherished memories.
Conrad graduated from John Marshall High School and attended San Antonio College. He was a dedicated warehouse worker who took pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him.
Conrad was proud of his Native American heritage and was a member of the Yavapai-Apache Nation. He had many interests and hobbies that reflected his personality and love of life. He enjoyed playing basketball and was a diehard San Antonio Spurs fan, especially when it meant attending games with his nephews. He was also a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan who never missed an opportunity to poke fun at Dallas Cowboys fans. Conrad enjoyed keeping up with current events and engaging in lively discussions. He also had a knack for tinkering with electronics and was known throughout the family as the family mechanic, always ready to lend his skills and help solve a problem.
Above all, Conrad was a family man, he was a father and uncle whose love for his family knew no bounds. He especially enjoyed spoiling the little ones and making sure they felt loved. Family and friends knew they could always count on Conrad for help, support, and guidance. He was a great source of encouragement to the children in his life, offering thoughtful advice and reminding them that they could always turn to him. His generosity shone especially bright at Christmas, when he took great joy in spoiling everyone and making the holiday season special for those he loved.
Conrad will be remembered for his generous heart, his loyalty to family, his sense of humor, and the countless ways he showed his love through his actions. Whether sharing a laugh over sports, offering a helping hand, giving advice, or making special memories with his loved ones, Conrad left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he gave and the memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Rose Mary Beecher; his brothers, Rodney Beecher and J.D. Beecher; and his nephew, Adrian Pruneda.
Conrad leaves behind his beloved sisters, Rosemary Beecher and Lillian Johnson; his nephews, Gregory Gonzales, Jerry Garcia (Aissa Vallecillo), and David Araiza; and his nieces, Cassandra Garcia (Mark Rodriguez) and Liliana Gonzales. He also leaves behind numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, along with extended family members and dear friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
Though Conrad’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his spirit will live on through the stories shared, the laughter remembered, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. His family will forever hold close the memories of a man who was always there when they needed him and who made life a little brighter for everyone around him.
Rest in peace, Conrad. You will always be loved, forever remembered, and deeply missed.
