Conrad John Kolodejcak Jr.

John was 66 years old, a devoted Son and Brother and was deeply devoted to his Catholic Faith, occasionally serving as acolyte at the chapel at villa de San Antonio. He overcame numerous disabilities and illnesses while maintaining a wonderful sense of humor and positive outlook on life. He left this world truly at peace with himself and his loved ones.

A graduate of Holy Cross High School, Class of 1967 he worked for the U S Postal Service over 35 years Retiring 06/27/2003. While working John received numerous awards recognizing him as an outstanding handicapped employee of the U S Postal Services.

He enjoyed Sports, Music, Supporting Charitable Causes and Family Time. Did I say he enjoyed Sports? John was a fanatical fan of the Spurs, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros

A people person John had many friends at work and in his recent retirement years he had many great friendships at his home in Villa De San Antonio where the staff provided him with excellent assisted living care and support. His last two weeks with us were filled with friendly smiles from the caring medical staff at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in the medical center

John was preceded in death by his father Conrad John Kolodejcak, Sr. and is survived by his Mother Catherine R. Kolodejcak, Sister JoAnn Lister and husband Paul ("Tony") Lister, and Brother Gerard Kolodejcak and wife Jo Ann Kolodejcak, nieces and nephews, Karen and Rick Conticello, Bonnie Lister, Sharon and Will Hatler, Mark and Becky Lister, Jennifer and Tom Philpot, Kimberly Jo and Daniel Potter, Gerard and Tabatha Kolodejcak and several grand nephews and nieces.

A rosary will be held for John Friday, January 30th, 7:00 PM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 N Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232, (210) 495-7770

A funeral mass will be held for John at the Chapel in Villa De San Antonio Saturday morning January 31st, 10:00 AM, 8103 North Hollow, San Antonio, TX 78240

Followed by a grave side service at Resurrection Cemetery, 11624 FM 471, San Antonio, TX 78253 next to Taft High School
