This message is for Lynn, Chris & Steve Lamb.  This is Linda Raye Smith,  Changed my first name to Lissa years ago.  I wanted to say hello and how sorry you lost your dad.  I saw your mom at her home on Kenmar shortly after your dad passed & she told me you three had been living in different areas.  I'll never forget your dad.  One morning when we were all kids, I looked out my bedroom window and it was pouring down rain.  You all were washing one of your cars.  I went outside with an embrella & said "Why are you washing your car in the rain"  and your dad said "because it's dirty" & everyone laughed.  You were great neighbors to grow up with and I hope you 3 "kids" are all doing well.  If you ever want to chat about old times, call me at 214-973-1406.  I live in Memorial area in Houston.. Blessings to you all.  ps.  That military training never left some of our dads, did it?  Mine was same way.....hee

Well, Mr. Lamb, sorry, Conrad.  From the day I was born I was always to address you as Mr. Lamb.  A couple of years back, you gave me permission to call you Conrad.  I will never be comfortable.  Funny though, Alice was always Alice.

My most memorable moment of you took place during one of our many family outings, which usually included guns.  I don't remember killing anything, but never the less we had fun.  On this occasion one of your guns discharged accidentlly in your car and blew a hole through the roof.  My Dad, of course, took the opportunity to illustate the many dangerous capablities of guns.  I, however, thought it was absolutely hilarious. So, thanks for the lesson and the memory.  I hope I remembered the event correctly.  If not, don't tell me.  I'm partial to my version.
