Consuelo Jimenez Perales

Consuelo Jimenez Perales, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2022, in San Antonio, TX, where she was born and raised. Consuelo was born on August 31, 1939, to her parents Rosalio Jimenez and Herminia Casiano Jimenez. She was known as Connie, or Chelo, to her family, friends, and neighbors. She had the most honest and caring heart. She was loving, with a beautiful nature, and she especially loved "Jesus". When we couldnt find her at home, we knew to find her at church. Where she would attend Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at least 2-3 times a week.

She selflessly gave of herself to her children and grandchildren in her life. Many were blessed to come within her circle of caring. She maintained deep ties to her family, friends, and neighbors in her neighborhood she was closely connected to. She never turned away anyone needing help or food and she was always willing to give her love and care, whether it was to family, friends, or a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Perales, and her son, Robert Bais. Consuelo is survived by her children, Janie Disessa (Bill), Lydia Gonzales (David), Veronica Armendariz (Deborah), Paul Ramirez, Jr., Sharon Ramirez, Shirley Perales (Chewy), and Olga Bais; she had twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August the 17th, at Porter Loring Mortuary located on McCullough Avenue for the celebration of Consuelos life.
