Corine Coleman

Corine was born in Elkhorn City, KY to the late “Jus” Ratliff and Audrey Hawkins Ratliff on January 29, 1948. She married Ollis Ray Coleman on September 4, 1970 in Kentucky. She worked as a teacher and principal for NW Hills Christian School for 30 years. The sports complex is named in her and Ray’s honor.

Corine was an active member of NW Hills Baptist Church in many different facets including the social committee.

Corine is preceded in death by three brothers, James Corbett Ratliff, David Mack Ratliff, JC Ratliff and her beloved sister Vicki Ratliff of Elkhorn City, KY.

Corine is survived by her spouse Ray Coleman, and their only child Wendi Eager and her husband Rusty Eager.

Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM on Monday January 26 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday January 27 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with the Pastor Josh Bolch of NW Hills Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are courtesy of Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
