Cornelia Roberts Krause

Cornelia Neal Roberts Krause on October 9, 2008 passed into eternal rest and peace with her God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Neal graduated from Lamar High School, Houston, TX and The University of Texas, Austin. She married her college sweetheart in 1956 and was happily married to Donald E. Krause, MD for 52 years.

They had two wonderful children, Stephen Douglas and Susan Elizabeth and lived in San Antonio since 1965. Neal was poplar and socially active and was a past President of the following: Southwest Foundation Forum, Methodist Hospital Foundation, Chi Omega Alumni, and Lantana Garden Club.

She also served on the boards of Charity Ball Association, Ecumenical Center for Religion and Health, Hospice San Antonio, Bexar County Medical Alliance, Ronald McDonald House, Unicorn Center, and Christ Healing Center.

She was beautiful, radiant, and personable, and was indeed an extraordinary woman, wife, mother and friend. Neal was unfortunately predeceased by her daughter, Susan in 1995.

She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; son, Stephen and wife Lori; and grandsons, Bowen Porter and Weston Donald of Los Angeles. Other family survivors are brothers, John and wife Ann Roberts and David and wife Rui Roberts; nephews, Rick and wife Mary Roberts and Paul and wife Katie Roberts; nieces, Julie and husband Stephen Petri and Blakely and husband Scott Nethery.

Pallbearers: Bowen and Weston Krause, Stephen Krause, John Roberts, David Roberts, Rick Roberts and Scott Nethery.
