Cornelius honorably served in the US Army, and retired from the NYC Department of Sanitation.
He is survived by wife, Barbara Gore; son Michael Gore and wife Carol; daughters, Elizabeth Lee and husband Rodney, and Deborah Gore; brother, John Joseph Gore; grandchildren, Alexander, Tristan and Kayla and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the San Antonio State School in memory of Cornelius Gore, Volunteer Services of SASS, 6711 S. New Braunfels, Ste. 500.
