Cosme Rodriguez

Cosme Rodriguez was called home to be with the Lord, on May 25, 2015 at the age of 94. He is preceded in death by his beloved son Adrian Rodriguez, daughter Olga Reyna and grandson Daniel James Rodriguez. Cosme served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. After retiring from his 32 year career at Kelly Air Force Base, he began his second career volunteering in the community, at the San Antonio State School Living Center. Also, he taught bible study classes along with running the Sunday school for over 20 years at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church and visited the elders through the Meals on Wheels Program. Cosme is survived by his loving wife, of 64 years of marriage, Lucy V. Rodriguez, children; Maria Ester PettyJohn, Gilbert Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez (Yvette), Manuel Rodriguez (Nadine), George Rodriguez (Terry), 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. A visitation will begin on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 5:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home 226 Cupples Rd. with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:00 pm that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday, June 01, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
