Crestina Perez Herrera

Crestina Perez Herrera went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the age of 87 In San Antonio, Texas. Crestina was born Sunday, July 24, 1932 in Whitsett, Texas-Liveoak. She is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Atancio Perez and Mrs. Beatriz Bermudes Perez as well as 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Crestina is survived by beloved husband of 67 years; Santos L. Herrera, Children; Carmen H. Carreon (Jose), Santos P. Herrera Jr. (Blanca), Juan P. Herrera (Mary Ann), Martin P. Herrera (Pauline) 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a number of loving siblings. Crestina was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and loved seeing her children and their families around her kitchen table. She welcomed all family to her home for the holidays. Her home was always filled with love, laughter and great food. She helped raise 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. the committal service will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. The visitation will be limited due to the COVID-19 declaration set by the City, County, and State officials.
