Cristobal P. Arias

Cristobal Portillo Arias peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 at the age of 82. He was born April 3rd to Estanislado Arias and Cresencia Portillo in Crystal City, Texas. Cristobal is preced in death by his parents and beloved grandson Alberto Santillana III. Cristobal is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Maria de Jesus; five children, Diana Arias, Joel Arias, Belinda A. Samaniego, Cristobal Arias Jr. and Susanne Arias; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Cristobal was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where he continuously volunteered his time to help the less fortunate. He was proud of his accomplishments which included a successful HVAC and Sheet Metal business. His dedication to his family and church earned him wholehearted respect from all. He will be greatly missed and treasured in our hearts forever. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 1:00p.m. with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
