CSM Juan Luevano, Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.), passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born in Robie, Texas on October 10, 1944 to Juan and Refugia (Espino) Luevano. Juan served his country in the U.S. Army where he received multiple honors including, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation and Army Services Ribbon. He received his master’s degree from Webster University.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucila V. Luevano and sister, Angelica Luevano. Juan is survived by his daughter, Fatima V. Cearley; son, Juan V. Luevano; daughter and son-in-law, Anneliese and Tony Parker; brother, Danny Luevano; grandchildren, Dossaney A. Ernst, Dayton Cearley and Domiziana Cearley.
Family and Friends will be received Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring North.
