Cunnie Davis Jr.

Cunnie was born in Jefferson, TX to Cunnie Davis Sr. and Martha Smith-Davis on September 8, 1945. He went to school and graduated from Southwest Texas State University, then worked as a Radiographer for Methodist Specialty and Transplant, as well as San Antonio Military Medical Center. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army.

Cunnie is preceded in death by his parents, Cunnie Davis Sr. and Martha Smith-Davis, his siblings, George, Audrey Mae, Eddie Louis, Marilyn “Sally”, as well as his daughter, Nichole Janae.

Cunnie is survived by Patricia Diane, Brian Christopher Davis, and Amaya Denae Davis, brothers James and Lee Davis as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be provided by the U.S Army honor guard.

Funeral services will be held on April 7, 2025 with a visitation beginning at 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, TX 78238. A chapel service will be held on April 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM, followed by a precession to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209, for a 1:45 PM graveside service.

The family would like to give all the honor and glory to God. The Davis family would also like to thank all those involved and everyone for their prayers and thoughts.
