Cynthia will be lovingly remembered for her unwavering devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ and her commitment to living a life of faith and discipleship. Her kindness, compassion, and love for animals were a reflection of her caring heart. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Isaura Davila; her parents, Frank and Olga Sanchez; her granddaughter, Marie Gonzalez; and her dear Aunt Pearl.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Tyffany Marie Gonzalez; her son, Matthew Alexander Sanchez (Rachel Rodriguez); and her cherished grandchildren, Donovan Cole Gonzalez, Neyomi Rose Gonzalez, Gia Isabel Gonzalez, and Ezra Alexander Sanchez.
She is also survived by her brother, Frank Sanchez, Jr. (Linaden); and her sister, Deanna Marie Cervantes (Robert Jr.), along with her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Cynthia’s faith in Jesus Christ was an important part of her life, and her love and compassion touched those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the faith she cherished and the enduring love she leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those wishing to honor Cynthia’s memory to make a donation to the Helotes Humane Society, reflecting her deep love and compassion for animals.

A visitation will take place at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78238 on November 1, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary will be recited on November 2, 2026 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Road. San Antonio, Texas 78230 at 9:30 AM. The funeral mass will be performed at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra Road, San Antonio, Texas 78253.
