

We celebrate the remarkable life of Cyrus Mortazavi, who departed this world on January 8, 2025. Born on May 5, 1948, in Iran, Cyrus was the beloved son of Seyed Esmail and Fatimeh Mortazavi and a cherished brother to Mohsen, Simin, Nasrin, Shahla, and Mina.
In 1969, Cyrus courageously immigrated to the United States, where he embraced a new life and became a proud naturalized citizen.
He leaves behind his devoted wife of 53 years, Dorothea Coy Mortazavi, his loving daughter Cyra Mortazavi Trevino, his son Isaac Coy Mortazavi, his son-in-law Richard Trevino, and his treasured grandsons, Ricky and Caleb.
Cyrus will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted, witty, and hardworking entrepreneur whose integrity and forthrightness left an indelible impression on everyone he met.
With a relentless drive and an innate passion for learning, Cyrus spent years mastering the intricacies of water treatment before founding his own business 24 years ago. His tireless dedication and commitment to excellence built a thriving enterprise that not only provided for his family but also earned him the respect and admiration of his community.
Cyrus approached life’s challenges with unwavering determination, viewing obstacles as opportunities to grow and excel. His perseverance and integrity became hallmarks of his character, inspiring those around him.
Above all, Cyrus will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose love and dedication touched the lives of many. His legacy of resilience, generosity, and hard work will continue to inspire all who knew him.
