Dagi was born on December 1, 1961 to Franz J. Stock* and Maria T. Stock*. She built a life around people she loved and work she was passionate about. She was full of love and spunk. She showed that love in the kitchen and at the front door: she cooked for others, opened her home, and made whoever walked in feel like family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and natural leader who left a lasting legacy through her family, her art, and her passion for animal rescue. As a talented theatre costumer, her creativity and dedication presence was felt throughout TAPPS UIL Theatre competitions, inspiring countless students on stage. Beyond her art, she possessed a boundless heart, making room for rescue dogs just as easily as she did for people. This calling led her to serve as the regional coordinator for Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico for the American Bouvier Rescue League, where she gave vital second chances to animals in need. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and the many lives—both human and canine—she beautifully touched.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Henry; her daughters, Dominique Smith (Patrick) and Shamicha Yanes (Andrew), and her son, Simon Henry; her grandchildren, Madeline Raphael (Charlie), Eleanor Smith, Sophia Smith, and Olivia Smith; Jace Yanes, Ethan Yanes, and Adam Yanes; her grandfurbaby, Flint; her sisters, Marlene Mueller (Egon) and Monika Schavier (Robert*); and her brother, Marcus Stock.
