Daisy grew up playing piano for the Baptist Church in West Columbia and also played for several churches in San Antonio from 1935 to 1937.
She moved with her parents to San Antonio in 1935, and married John T. Skinner in January 1937. They lived in Corpus Christi and Robstown, Texas until 1941 when her husband was called back into the service.
In 1942 the moved to Waco and returned to San Antonio in 1946. She has lived in San Antonio ever since and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Daisy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jessie Fleming; her husband, John and eldest son, Harvey.
She is survived by her son, Jim Skinner and her dear friend, Louise Rivers.
