Dale Dempsy Tidwell, born on August 31, 1953, in his hometown of San Antonio, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2025. He was the beloved son of Dempsey Theodore Tidwell and Dorothy Mae Tidwell.
Dale's life began and ended in the city he loved, and he carried the values of his family and community with him throughout his years. He was proud to hold many Titles in the Boerne SAR, the San Antonio MSO&B and the SCV and enjoyed being involved in the parades, meetings and took care of many of the Confederate graves. He loved life, gardening, cooking, fishing and most of all family and friends. He will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Tidwell, two sons and five grandchildren.
