Dalton Guy Jones, 91, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was born in Alma, Nebraska on October 16, 1922 to Alva and Alma Crumb Jones. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Army Air Corp. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; children, Rosalee Shafer, Gary C. Jones and wife, Sue; grandchildren, Dale Shafer, Todd Shafer, Darin Jones, Kyle Jones; 10 great grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; brother, Russell Jones; sister, Winifred McCord; several nieces and nephews. The graveside service and interment will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 9:30 A.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The Wounded Warrior Project and www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
