

Dalyn Lee Drake, age 49, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to David Drake and Diana Flinn on February 10, 1970 in Clarkston, WA and was raised in Lewiston, Idaho. He attended the University of Idaho for several years with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering. Dalyn also spent six years in the Idaho Army National Guard, 116th Engineering Battalion. Dalyn was one of the youngest men in his battalion to become a sergeant. He was extremely proud of his time spent in the National Guard and was a true American patriot. Dalyn was very highly respected in his field of work in the Energy Industry, commissioning many different projects across the nation. He was the man that would learn everything about every system he possibly could making himself an invaluable resource to his employers. He was the go-to guy when no one else could figure it out even when it wasn't part of his job description. Dalyn was a true team player. As an avid rodeo and country music fan, one of his favorite events was the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo. He also really enjoyed spending time at his ranch working on any number of various projects. Dalyn was a loving husband, step-father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his parents, David Drake and Diana Flinn; his wife, Jacki Drake; step-daughters, Wittney and Brooke Bates; brother, Dan Drake; and nephews, Denver and Damon Drake as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
