

Dana Maria Due Telenko of San Antonio, TX, died peacefully on April 9, 2024. She was born on July 31, 1940, at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio to Colonel (U.S. Army Retired) William Field Due and Dora Zoraida Rodriguez, both deceased.
She moved often with her family and resided in places such as Puerto Rico, Panama and Germany. She graduated from Nuremberg American High School in Germany in 1956 and later attended Incarnate Word College in San Antonio.
She was married over sixty years to Colonel (U.S. Army Retired) George Joseph Telenko, deceased. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She spent over thirty years as a civil servant for local, state and federal agencies. She was a woman of deep faith and integrity. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with family.
The Telenko Family would like to express gratitude for the prayers and support during this time of grief.
She is preceded by her three brothers: Richard, Roderick, and John Due.
She is survived by four sons: Trent Joseph Telenko (Mindy), Todd William Telenko, Troy Anthony Telenko (Judith) and Tracy Francis Telenko (Julie); three sisters: Dora D. Logue (Douglas), Dixie D. Smith (Thomas, deceased), Zaida D. Forester (David) and one brother, William Field Due, Jr. (Sandra); eight grandchildren: Troy Anthony-Matthew Telenko (Melissa), Trevor Telenko, Abigail Telenko, Jacob Telenko, Karen Telenko, David Telenko, Clyde Telenko and James Telenko; and one great grandchild, Forrest Telenko.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm., Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
