Daniel F. Castilleja was called home by the Lord on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the age of 55. Dan was an avid outdoorsman and loved to travel. He retired from AT&T after 29 years of loyal service. Dan was a loving family man and had many friends. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip P. Castilleja. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cindy Castilleja; son Chris Favella and wife Erin; grandson, Blake Favella; mother, Lupe F. Castilleja; brother, David F. Castilleja and wife Diana; nephew, Matthew and nieces Marissa and Marinna; niece, Stephanie; nephew, Jeffrey and nieces, Kambri and Karley. Private family visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, public viewing and visitation at 5:00pm. Funeral service will be at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 8415 Wurzbach Road
