Daniel Joseph Fernandez

Daniel had the biggest heart of anyone we ever met and he could make anyone laugh. He was a wonderful musician and we have fond memories of waking up to his personal jazz concerts in the living room.

He was also the sailor in the group - taking us out on Canyon Lake. Daniel loved computers and was looking forward to a technology career after graduation. We still have some of his Frankenstein inventions.

We will always love Daniel and cherish the all too short time we shared with him.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Jose and Sharon; his brother, Ryan; his sister, Alexandra; his grandparents, Jack and Joan Riegel and Cristina Posada; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6070 Babcock Rd.

Followed by a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Daniel's name to the Monastery of the Infant Jesus, 1501 Lotus Lane, Lufkin, TX 75904.
