Son of Martha Wolfe Hawley and Howard Hawley, Daniel was born in a military hospital in Franklin Indiana 1-9-1954 later moved and continued growing up in the state of Wyoming, Dan had a knack for carving the most beautiful things out of just about any size pieces of wood,he loved fishing,Hunting, camping, playing his guitars and just anything that kept him out doors or making music.. Dan joined the Army in 1973 later Honorably discharged. He worked in the oil fields he got married had three children. Dan became a drifter of sorts, and loved to travel from place to place landing in San Antonio Tx. where he spread the word of God, hung out with all his friends, played for those who loved to hear him pick on his guitars. San Antonio is where Dan loved to be, and where he continued to live out the rest of his day’s!
Daniel is preceded in passing by father, Howard Hawley, and two brothers: David Hawley and Mark Hawley and nephew, John Meier. He is survived by his Mother Martha, his sisters: Cathy Hawley Meier and Terry Hawley Serres, brother, Steven Hawley, daughters: Malisa Hawley Kellogg and Amber Hawley, Son Travis Hawley, and nieces; Stacy Serres Jackson, Amanda Serres Major; nephews, Garrett Hawley, Jeff Meier, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
