'Danny Markson was my freshman roommate at Clark University in 1977-78. I loved Danny. We laughed and sang and shared a lot. Even though years have passed, he remains in my heart and soul.'

'Danny was a great human being. We became the best of friends in second grade at the Harriet A. Baldwin School. Our mothers were extremely good friends through Hadassah and the neighborhood. I never forgot when our mothers took us to the Nutcracker movie when we were 6 or 7. They loved it, and we were sitting there laughing our heads off pretending that we were dancing, too. We had a lot of fun, and he had the best sense of humor. I remember when we were in a special club as young children, the Dick Dastardly Stop that Pigeon club, and couldn't wait to get a new "spy" gift in the cereal boxes. We'd spend hours on the phone talking about it when we were 6 or 7 years old. We had Miss White for second grade. He could always make me laugh. Here and there we'd stay in touch on the phone over the years or I'd hear about him through our dear friends and family, The Rosens, Mal, Charlotte, Joie Ann, and Steve. My dad would say that Danny led a wonderful Passover Seder, and was a real gentleman. We started again to stay more in touch after our mothers passed away. I got a holiday card from him every year after that, and he was so proud of Maury, his new son. I'd hear about how great he did in real estate and business, and he really seemed so happy. Danny, I want to thank you for all of the good times, and for being a wonderful person. Deepest sympathy to your family. G-d bless them. May you rest in peace, my good friend.'

'Danny. I don't quite know what to write or how to say much right now. 24 years of knowing you. In and out of each others life. My sagittarius brother and overall speacial human. There wasn't anything we couldn't talk about, laugh about, cry about, forget about. We did all of that. I am so grateful for having known you. For having really known you. This is not the end. I will expect to see you first in line when I join you on the other side someday. Make it fun. Make it big. You will be soarly missed by so many my friend.

His South End home was my first architecture project. I saw him in Boston recently when I met Maury. He was such a sweet and talented guy. I am so sad.'
