Daniel enjoyed good music, being out in nature, and watching classic movies. On weekends he could often be found working in his yard while listening to KSYM’s T-Bone’s Prime Cuts. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandson, who brought him great pride and joy.
He is survived by his wife, Rosario Padron; his children, Sarah, Esteban, and Savannah Padron; his grandson, Joel Cantu Jr.; his siblings Jose Padron, Eduardo Padron, Maria de Rosario Mejia, Belinda Guerrero, San Juanita Padron and Joe “Mousey” Garza. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Raymondo, Antonio “Tony,” Oscar Padron, and Ernesto Garza.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave, San Antonio, Texas, with a reception to follow.
