Darita Z. Dillard, born on January 8, 1962, went to be with our Lord on August 4, 2019, at the age of 57. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents: Tomas and Margarita Zapata. Darita is survived by her devoted husband: Albert Dillard Jr.; her loving children: Tomas Dillard and Jeanette Dillard; grandchildren: Tina and Frankie; siblings; Ramiro C. Zapata (Kathy), Beatrice Regan (Dan), Agapito Zapata (Irene), and Belinda Sanchez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Darita enjoyed spending her time reading, drawing, coloring, and playing games. She also loved watching movies and doing crossword puzzles. Darita was the activity coordinator president for the Retama Manor Nursing Home in Pleasanton, Tx. She will be dearly missed by all of her close family and friends. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd., San Antonio, Texas, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, August 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. a Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 1918 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, Texas. Interment will follow at First Memorial Burial Park in Von Ormy, Texas.
