David Charles Chilcott

David was preceded in death by his parents and his identical twin brother, Douglas. He is survived by his older brother Gary (Cindy), two nieces Jennifer and Carrie, and one nephew, William.

David was born in 1948 in Lockport, NY to Beth and Eugene Chilcott. He grew up in Clarence, NY and graduated from Clarence Central HS in 1966. He graduated from the State University of NY at Oswego in 1970, and then the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1977. David studied and practiced chiropractic and acupuncture in Italy and Japan. He was board certified in several states including Texas.

David relocated to San Antonio in the early 1980s where he established the Broadway Medical Clinic. Known for his dedication and commitment, David earned the admiration of his colleagues, patients, and friends. His passion for healthcare touched countless lives throughout his beloved community.

In retirement, David traveled extensively throughout the world. For many years he cared for his father Gene, and companion Joan who wintered in Texas at David’s home. In his later years, David loved operating and flying drones and remotely piloted model aircraft. David also enjoyed retreating to and living by the water. His favorite areas to relax with family and friends were Canyon Lake and the Gulf Coast. Throughout his life David made numerous close and endearing friendships.

A celebration of life service is scheduled at the Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel, 2102 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Tx 78232 on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in memory of David.
