David was a fine person, He give me my first start in the Auto Sales Business, I pray God has taken him to a better place, and I pray for his family for their loss.

Dear Dad, I want to thank you for everything you've done for me over the years. Visiting you during the summer when you lived in Florida was such a wonderful experience. The trips to Disney World are still some of my fondest memories growing up as a child. You definitely spoiled me during my early years in life. I did not realize how lucky I was to go on those trips until much later. As a teenager you let me know that anything worth having in life was to be earned not given. It took a long time for me to figure out that you only wanted me to be able to support myself and develop a strong work ethic. If it wasn't for your tough love I would never have been able to provide my family the life they deserve. You had the most relentless work ethic and desire to be successful of anyone I've ever known. Finishing second was not something you accepted easily. You have left a lasting impression with me that I am truly thankful for. People are telling me stories about you the last several days that confirm to me waht a selfless person you were to so many people, including myself. You never wanted anyone else's help even if you could have used it at the time. People loved being around you because of you because of your fun loving personality. I loved how you could walk into a room and make people laugh including myself. Every dealership you ever worked at the girls in the back office loved you. Maybe it was the way you liked to flirt or possibly the fact you treated everyone with a great amount of respect. I could write an entire book about the way you impacted my life. Moving to live with you in Corpus Christi directly changed my life forever. I have a wonderful wife and two amazing children because you let me be part of your life. I can't ever thank you enough for helping me realize the importance of respect, honesty, loyalty, perseverance, and so many other great attributes you had. You were a wonderful man that had a huge impact in my life. I will miss you more than words can describe but the wonferful memories I have of you will never be forgotten. I love you Dad and I really wish I could reach out to you right now and wrap my arms around you and never let go! The day we see each other again, I will have that opportunity. I write these words to you today with infinite love and joy of all the memories we have shared as father and daughter. Knowing you are still here with me today, I have some very special words I would like to say. I have treasured all of the time we have shared. I love how you treasure a fond memory of a little girl holding your hand walking through a corn field and how you share that memory with me often even as an adult. I love how you are the only one I will ever let call me Mishie. I am grateful how hard you work to teach me that having a strong work ethic is vital. You have so much zest for life. Your charisma and charm draw people close to you. You are always there for me to talk to no matter if it is good or bad yet you never judge. Thank you for teaching me it is okay to love deeply and passionately. I have learned from you it is important to be honest and sincere. You are the most kind and giving man who would give the shirt off his back. You are a true friend to many. I love how you are always the life of the party. You are insightful about many people and wrong about few. You are a great teacher and role model. You live life hard and fast, wild and free. You are tired now and not feeling well. I know you need to rest. You have accomplished everything in life you wanted to achieve. I am so proud of you Dad so please know it is okay to leave. The Lord has his arms wrapped tightly around you so do not be afraid, your pain and suffering will soon be gone. Please know that I will miss you deeply everyday and will cherish you always.
