of San Antonio, Texas, passed away
peacefully at his home on June 5, 2020.
He was 75 years old.
David was born in Preston England in 1945, his parents then brought him to San Antonio at the age of 2. He enjoyed drag racing and football. He never missed a Dallas Cowboys football game. He loved animals and was known to bring home any stray dog in need. He owned Mobil Service Stations in Fort Worth and San Antonio and in his retirement operated a small engine repair shop.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gertrude Conkle. He is survived by his children Debra Conkle (Gene Graves), Kelly Perez (George) and Chris Conkle, their mother Suzan Jones. His Grandchildren Ryan, Rheanna, Renee Trevino, Robyn Adame, Russell and Dustin Graves, Brandon, Lauren and Jenna Perez, Taylor and Kaitlyn Conkle and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a chapel service at 2:30 p.m. And a graveside service at 3:30 p.m.
