David Lee Cottingham of San Antonio, TX, age 55 passed away Friday, March 17 2006 after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born October 16, 1950 to Miles Dixon and Ruth Skeen Cottingham in Denver, CO. David graduated from SMU in 1973, and received his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1983. David served as an associated pastor at Wayside Chapel in San Antonio from 1984-2000. David is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan Jordan Cottingham and daughter, Rachel Jane. His family wants to thank The Medical Team for their excellent care as well as so many family, friends and our church family for their extraordinary support and faithful care for David.
