David Lloyd Craig

David Lloyd Craig was born on 7 Oct 1954 to Lloyd and Alma Craig in Iowa Falls, Iowa. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death on 14 July 2023. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at University Hospital for their care and expertise in his last few days.

Dave attended Northwestern College in Iowa, where is graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts. He then enlisted in the US Air Force. He spent 24 years traveling the world with the Air Force and finally retiring in San Antonio, Texas. After retirement from the Air Force he worked as a fitness director at one of the fitness centers at Lackland AFB.

In 1982 he married Wanida and took on her two daughters as his own. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for these girls.

Dave enjoyed being an active member and Elder at Faith Lutheran Church, however what he enjoyed most was sports. Any and all sports! It was normal to see him jumping and hollering at the TV.

Dave will be greatly missed by many people.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church 14819 Jones Maltsberger Rd, San Antonio, TX 78247 on 5 Aug 2023 at 10:30am. Meal and fellowship to follow the service.
