David M. Garcia Sr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel & Pilar Garcia; brothers, Manuel Garcia and Ignacio Garcia and sister, Esther Garcia.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Maria A. Garcia; children, David Garcia Jr, Joe Albert Garcia (Belinda Cervantes) Leticia Toole (Brian), Susan Garcia, Javier Medellin and Martin Duran (Patricia); grandchildren, Stephen Encino (Giovanna), Emily Encino, Samantha Perez, Blake Toole, Destiny Menchaca, Francisco Menchaca III, Nadia Menchaca, Nathan Garcia (Marlee), David J. Garcia (Dorothy) and Carson Garcia; great grandchildren, Nova Encino, Zander Encino, Jaiden Alvarado, Luna Chavez, Lowen Lumbreras, Atlas Grant, Nevaeh Grant, Anastasia Garcia, Elias Garcia and Leonardo Garcia. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Garcia, Jesse Garcia and Emma Gonzalez.

A Visitation for David will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, April 1, 2026 a Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Leonard's Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
