He is preceded in death by his parents, Augustine M. Herron and Amelia P. Lujan and her husband John F. Lujan; brother, Manuel "PeeWee" Herron and Aunt, Lupe Solis and her husband Rudy Solis.
David is survived by his daughter, Katrina Herron and her mother, Rachael Herron; sister, Hermelinda Acevedo and her husband, Roland; and niece and nephew, Elizabeth Serna (Robert) and John Ritz (Nicole). He is also survived by numerous extended relatives and friends from San Antonio and California.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.
