

David H. Hubin, age 89, a devoted and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather was blessed with the peaceful passing at his home surrounded by his family on February 9th, in San Antonio Texas. He was born on November 16, 1929 in Owatonna, MN and was raised on the family dairy farm in Shell Lake Wisconsin.
David attended Shell Lake High School and the University of Wisconsin Superior. He and JoAnna Scott were married on August 12th 1952 in West Palm Beach Fl. Together they had three children Scott, James and Katherine. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Lt Col. and Command Pilot. He was a member of Coker United Methodist Church, Questors Sunday School and greatly valued his Emmaus reunion group.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Florence Hubin; brother, Paul Hubin; sister in law, Lynn Hubin; daughter-in-law, Lorrie Hubin and granddaughter, Rachel McCall. He is survived by his wife, JoAnna; brothers, Peter and Betty Hubin, James and Patricia Hubin, and Daniel Hubin; Children, Scott and Cathy Hubin, James Hubin, Katherine and Adam McCall; grandchildren, Noemie (Hubin) and Henri Onufryk, Marco, Eric and Adèle Hubin, David Hubin, Evan and Max McCall and great grandchildren Augustin, Gabriel and Josephine Onufryk.

Pastor Relder will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
