' The massive tsunami of loss has finally receded and I now can reflect on my thoughts. I have lived a life that contained many adverse challenges, events of loss, situations that could not be predicted and feeling of hopelessness. The one thing that was constant and unwavering was the love, mentorship and understanding of my Aunt Cindy and Uncle David. Now that my Uncle David has progressed on I now understand a couple of things. 1. We would debate about things (life choices) and in the end he would say do what you need to do. Now I know He always did it his way and taught me to do the same 2. Live life to the fullest and appreciate people for the various jobs they do. 3. Have compassion but don't close your eyes to the capability of deceitful intensions. 3. Be yourself and allow others to be themselves, if it doesn't mix well then move on. My Uncle was my dad, my confidant, my biggest role model and my blue print of life. My son David(Prince) will assume the throne one day from the lessons my Uncle taught me. I will do to the best of my ability to help Aunt Cindy continue to do what you all have started. I love you Uncle!'

'Our son is in heaven but here on earth he accomplished so much. He was a football star in high school and in college he travelled to Europe to play in many venues and one of those was the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany where Jesse Owens won the Olympic Gold Medal in track 1n 1936. He was inducted into the Texas A & I Hall of Fame. He played in Honolulu, Hawaii twice. At age 30 he founded Las Americas Arena and featured a WBA World Title fight and he founded Comida "86" where he distributed food an toys to needy children. Today is the Saturday before Memorial Day and it is appropriate that it be known that he supported the veterans in providing trophies and awards in recognition of their service to our country. He took Papa Joe a WW II veteran and myself a Korean War veteran to the Philippines to commemorate V-J Day on September 2, 1995. I could go on and on but I hope I have done my son proud and we convey our love to him and we will miss him.'
