Dr. David J. O'Mara, age 85, died on Monday, December 24, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the US Navy during World War II.
After his naval career he was a Family Practitioner in Mesquite, Texas for over 22 years. He then served 18 years in the Air Force as a Colonel. After his discharge, he practiced Occupational Medicine at Kelly AFB in San Antonio, until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Toni O'Mara; daughter, Janet Kent; sons, Michael O'Mara and Steven O'Mara and his wife Cynthia; 8 grandchildren; and sister, Helen Whall.
