

Dave was born on April 17, 1935, in Cheltenham, England to Albert and Winifred Pearce.
Following service in the Royal Air Force, Dave studied as a professional engineer and brought his young family to America for career opportunities. He worked many years in Aircraft Manufacturing, and spent his golden working years at Fallas Automation in Waco, Texas.
He became a US Citizen in 1996, and proudly cast his vote for Bill Clinton.
He and his wife, Jackie, retired to San Antonio in 1999 to fulfill the role of doting grandparents. He especially enjoyed volunteering for the Texas Open and loved San Antonio and its culture.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stuart; his parents; and an older brother, John.
David leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Jacqueline Pearce; daughter and son-in-law, Kendall and Clayton Howell; granddaughter and light of his life, Hayden, all of San Antonio; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Dave Coldray; nieces, Teresa and Allison; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Joy Pearce; niece, Haley; and great-niece, Grace; all of England; niece, Michelle Johnson; nephew, Michael and Jane Johnson; great-niece, Ashly; and great-nephew, Justin, all of Texas.
Honorary Pallbearers will be David Fallas, Clay Howell, Albert Pearce, Dave Coldray, Benny Aspey, Paul Bowle, and Doug Clarke.
Adoring and doting of his beloved granddaughter, Hayden, PaPa loved to teach her new things and regularly picked her up from school. In remembrance of his significant role in her life, the family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to OnBoard Software Family Center, Dave Pearce Memorial Fund, 12621 Silicon, Ste 113, San Antonio, TX 78249.
