David R Perales

David R. Perales went to be with our Lord on February 4, 2018 at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by parents Angel & Elodia Perales, son, Jimmy Perales and daughter, Rose Mary Perales. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Blasita Perales adoring children, David (Alma) Perales, Mary Jane (Michael) Barrera, Javier (Susana) Perales and Lisa Engel; siblings Gloria (Edward) Gonzales, Janie Munoz, Angel "Junior" Perales, and sister-in-law Chavela Perales. David is also survived by his grandchildren that worship him, 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

David a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather will be dearly missed but also remembered in a number of ways. He was said to look like John Wayne to some and Jose Feliciano to others; we will remember the smells of Old Spice,Tres Flores and Brute aftershave. He was an avid sports fan of both the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs, David also would enjoy listening and dancing to his favorite Tejano bands. He was loving and caring in all his ways, with family meaning the world to him. David could make you feel that you had everything when it felt you had nothing with his love, the love that is more precious and valuable than anything.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Sunday, February 11, 2018 visitation will continue from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. We will be departing at 9:40a.m for Mass of Resurrection on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m with interment to follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
