

After a brief illness, David passed into the loving arms of his Savior on October 26, 2021, surrounded by his wife and daughters.
When David was nine years old, his family moved to San Antonio, Texas where his father worked for International Aerial Mapping Company. During David’s summer vacations, he worked as a surveyor for the IAM.
David graduated from Edison High School in San Antonio, Texas in 1964 where he was actively involved in football and track. After high school, he attended San Antonio College and was later employed by Eastern Airlines in San Antonio for 22 years. He spent the last year and a half working in Atlanta, Georgia before the Airline closed down.
In the last 20 years, David has been constantly in service to others and leaves behind many grateful and loving family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Frances Williamson Prescott, two daughters, Caymi Jane James (husband Clyde James), Cori Jo McGhee (husband Philip McGhee) and cherished grandchildren Elijah McGhee and Evelyn McGhee. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Sue Prescott and her spouse Elizabeth Gardner of Bedminster, New Jersey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Charles Kenneth Prescott.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, 11:00 AM, at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 14700 San Pedro Ave., San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Down
