

David Joseph Deeb Slyman, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 4, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on July 19, 1934 to David and Nellie Slyman Sr. David served 4 years in the United States Air Force, and worked for the United States Post Office for 42 years. He was an active member of Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and loved motorcycles, the Dallas Cowboys, and the San Antonio Spurs. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Slyman, and sister, Mary Slyman. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maxine Slyman; daughter, Kimberly Slyman Loner and husband Jason; son, Jason Slyman; granddaughter, Brooklyn; 2 brothers, Foad Slyman, and Edmond Slyman and wife Sherian; sister, Rosanne Slyman Miller; sister-in-law, Jean Slyman; brother-in-law, Ronald Moczygemba and husband Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
