He is preceded in death by his stepson, Eliodoro "Lolo" Munguia III and grandson, Ivan Giovanni Sanchez
He is survived by his parents, David & Margaret Thompson of Palmyra, New York; beloved wife, Alva Thompson; children, Shannon, Samantha and DJ; stepchildren, Carlos, Ana Lisa and Brett; siblings, Tammy McMillan and husband Bob and William Thompson and wife Amy. David is also survived by his 17 loving grandchildren; his numerous nieces and nephews and his in-laws and best friends, Alma & Armando Trevino and Belia Corbett of Mission, Texas.
David will be missed dearly but will live always in our hearts.
