David Voltz, age 48, a San Antonio native and resident, beloved son, brother and Uncle, passed away on December 29, 2007.
He was survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Phillip Voltz, Jr, sister Dr. Phyllis Voltz-Creamer and husband Michael Creamer, Mrs. Ellen Voltz Andrus and husband Rick Andrus, brother Steven Phillip Voltz and wife Amy, brother Donald William Voltz and wife Shannon and sister Sharon Voltz Adelman and husband David Adelman, and his nieces Valerie, Rachel and Stephanie Voltz, Katherine and Ally Adelman and nephews Colton and Eric Creamer.
David passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep while on a hunting trip with friends. He was passionate about ranching and had been looking forward to his trip to South Texas.
He was proud to be a volunteer and a lifetime member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo participating in the Livestock Committee, Special Sales and a current member of the Family Fair Committee.
His favorite pastimes include spending time at his South Texas ranch in Big Wells, photography, boating on Lake Travis and spending time with family and friends. He was particularly fond of spending time with Andrea and Diamond who were like daughters to him.
David was a proud graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in 1977. He attended Northwood University in the Dallas Area. He has enjoyed his time and success at Applied Materials in Austin where he has made numerous friends.
Pallbearers are his friends Gary Poss, Jake Phillips, Greg Perales, Carlos Rodriguez, Robert Traweek, Don Reim, AJ Lopez and Shane Ray.
