David Winter, brilliant artist, gifted musician, dear friend, devoted husband, beloved father, and man of God was called Home on May 8, 2021 at the age of 65 in San Antonio, Texas. He is now reunited with his mother and father in Heaven.
David H. Winter Jr. was the first-born of two sons to loving parents, Jean and David H. Winter Sr., born on April 30, 1956 in Newfoundland, Canada. He was also blessed with the opportunity to live within and visit many different countries throughout the world during his incredible life.
David greatly enjoyed world travel, and immersing himself in different cultures, natural settings, and adventures. Additionally, he would often capture his life experiences in photos or videos, and this would go on to inspire his beautiful artwork and music. His passion and special gift as an artist allowed him to produce a multitude of admirable works, including paintings, drawings, albums, photos, graphics, videos, and much more.
David will be remembered by remaining immediate family, including his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Winter, his only daughter, Amanda Winter, and brother, Richard Winter. He will also be missed dearly by countless additional friends and extended family members, until they meet again in Paradise.
The world has lost an incredible man. During his time with us, David truly was a wonderful, exemplary human being who always made others around him feel accepted, welcomed, valued, and loved. There never was, nor ever will be another person like him, and he will be greatly missed.
David Winter’s celebration of life memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at CrossBridge Community Church, 25700 Overlook Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78260.
