

David graduated from Burbank High School and received his degree from St. Mary's University. He worked at Kelly AFB until his retirement in 1988.
David was a member of several organizations including The Sons of the American Revolution and the Sons of the Republic of Texas.
In 1976, he joined the San Antonio Conservation Society SACS and was the first man elected to the Board of Directors; several years later he was the first man elected to the Executive Committee of SACS.
He is survived by his sister, Gwendolyn Baker and husband Lewis of Austin; two nieces: Sheri Biggs and Laurie Baker; a great niece, Denise Biggs; and his long time companion, Wayne Bowden.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 7th from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
