

Debra Dean, the second child of Cecil Mace and Hazel Dean Beauchamp Boring, was born on March 4,1953 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. She unexpectedly left this world in the morning hours of August 4,2023 at the age of 70 years 5 months and 1 day at her home in Windcrest, Bexar County, Texas.
Debra lived the first years of her life in Finley, Indiana where she attended Brandywine Elementary and New Palestine High School and graduated in 1971. She had lived in Kerrville, Texas for a year and always told people that she was moving to Texas when she got older. She moved to Kerrville in 1972, where she meet the love of her life. She got married in 1974 and moved to San Antonio, Texas. She was a member of Albright United Methodist Church. She moved her membership to Windcrest United Methodist Church in 1999, where she served on many committees. She was loved by all that knew her.
Debra was always close to all of her family members, always making sure that the family stayed close by suggesting difference get together to everyone and making sure that it happened.
She was loved by everyone around her, if there was anything that someone needed, she would find a way to make it happen. She was always up to date on happens around town, and be able to tell anyone what was going on.
She enjoyed being out in nature and was there at every chance she had. She was very fond of the Big Bend Country and enjoyed the days and nights that we spent there. One of here favorites times was the time she spent on horse back riding around Big Bend and the friends that she made on those trips.
She will be missed by family and friends alike.
Debra was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Mace Boring and her mother Hazel Dean Beauchamp Boring.
Debra is survived by her husband Chester Alvin Varner, Jr.; her brother William Henry (Evylen) Boring; three nieces Johlene (Tim) Hoenert, Kelly (Tony) Smith and Robin (Tom) Reed; three great nieces Kayla (Jared) Baird, Karia Hoenert and Madline Smith; three great nephews Kyle Hoenert, Luke Reed and Adam Reed; three God children Abrahim, Mariam and Helen Vatankhah; one great God daughter Lotus Eric Vatankhah and many cousins.
A celebration of Debra’s life will be held August 24th at 2:00 p.m. at Windcrest United Methodist Church 8101 Midcrown Dr., Windcrest, Texas.
