'I enjoyed Dee as a Weight Watchers leader. She was my leader for about a year, almost made Goal with her. I even went to her meeting in Clown one meeting, I have a great photo of that event. I will definitely think of her when I weigh my foods.'

'God's amazing grace---that is the friendship I had with Dee. I joined Weight Watchers March 2, 2006 - Thursday's at 9:30 - I never missed a meeting. She changed my life - best of all, she knew it. When I reached Lifetime a year later, I had gained the dearest mentor and friend anyone could hope for. We shared the same birthday and we loved this - always singing and doing a little dance, and making a wish. When Dee learned of her cancer it was now my time to help her, or so I thought. Every visit she always gave me "her best" - calling me to be better than I am. The week before she was "called home" Weight Watchers canceled the Thursday meeting and moved it to Monday. I was very disappointed and Dee said to me "sweet girl, it will be just fine". Dee passed away on the 7 1/2 year anniversary of our friendship - just like her to remind me to keep dancing, always show up, and bring my very best efforts. I will miss her more than I can say. God gave me a treasure and blessed my life with such a precious friend. My love to her family, I felt like I knew each one of you.
